Can you share a screenshot of what it looks like for you? On my system, I see two menu items from Filelight which make perfectly clear what the purpose is. partitioningmenu
Sorry Nate, it wasn't. I submitted the right one.
Aha, the problem is that filelight is not installed. When it is, it populates the menu with some items that makes it quite clear what the menu it for. We should handle this case, of course, but I'm having a hard time thinking of a way to make it more obvious. Do you have any ideas? My idea was to give the menu a header saying something like "Disk Partitioning" and then you would see a list of applications that do just that. This menu shows all sorts of disk-related apps, not just for partitioning. As you can see in that screenshot, two of those apps are related to partitioning, while two others relate to determining free space. I suppose the menu could show a title saying "Disk-related apps" but that seems like it might be a bit awkward. |
