Created attachment 133388 [details] The appletsrc file that causes the problem I logged into my user account, but the desktop didn't work correctly. The desktop and panel were displayed but I couldn't interact with them. I tracked the issue to $HOME/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc and remembered it appeared after adding Grouping plasmoid to the desktop and then some widgets to it. Adding some specific widgets or combination of widgets seems to be the cause of the problem. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add "Grouping plasmoid" to desktop 2. Add Comic strip, Calculator and Notes to Grouping 3. Log out and log back in OBSERVED RESULT Desktop is unresponsive and folder icons can't be clicked. Panel can't be clicked. EXPECTED RESULT Desktop and panel work normally. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 20.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.12.8
