KDE wayland compositor #1

After enabeling it and logging into a wayland session you get a window as seen in the attactment. Said window will eventually close itself and when it happens is not possible to switch between tasks/windows with ALT+Tab, even after runniing plasmashell --replace.

There are no dumps from it and from the journal the only thing out of the ordinaty i see, although i have no idea if related to this, is :

ov 14 05:11:56 vm polkit-kde-authentication-agent-1[2761]: Authentication agent result: true
nov 14 05:12:01 vm systemd[1120]: plasma-polkit-agent.service: start operation timed out. Terminating.

I can confirm this.

The window shown in the attachment seems to be a nested KWin window, and Alt+Tab stops working after said window is closed.

Can you reconfirm please.

There's been some changes
Comment 3 Thiago Sueto 2021-02-09 21:50:03 UTC
I can no longer reproduce this on master ever since that nested KWin window bug got fixed. Alt+Tab works as expected now.

Yay! Thanks.
