Krita version 4.4.1 has no problems rendering an animated .gif file on Windows 10. The problem you have may be caused by a variety of factors. Please go to krita-artists.org and start a topic there in the Support and Advice: General Questions category. That forum is a good place for discussion, help and advice, posting images etc. Crash is a valid bug though, no matter why it happens. Except for crash-on-close for some Qt versions, maybe. @Shienna can you please attach the content of Help -> Show Krita log for bug reports (Use Save and then Add an attachment here on website etc.)? And please tell us which version were you using? It wasn't my intention to be dismissive of the significance or importance of a reported crash I had a feeling that this one could be complicated and may need lots of text files and some images to be posted and I thought that the krita-artists forum was a more convenient place for that - to home in on the problem. We can do it here of course :) The attached palette generation log shows correct generation of a palette, with what looks like a single frame animation. @Shienna: Can you also do Help -> Show system information for bug reports and attach a text file containg that here?
