Created attachment 133285 [details] Attached the automated bug report file SUMMARY When Wayland is chosen during login, the Plasma crashes after showing the desktop for split second. The panel is shown then crashes. The panel tries to restart by its own, then crashes again. Other applications are responsive with ALT+F2. Tried kstart5 plasmashell but crashes again. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Boot up KDE Neon 5.20.3. 2. Choose Wayland in Login screen 3. Plasma crashes just after login OBSERVED RESULT Plasma crashes just after login with Wayland EXPECTED RESULT Plasma should not crash in wayland. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Neon 5.20.3 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Plasma works fine with X11 in same installation.
