(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kdevelop
Version: CVS HEAD (using KDE 3.0.1 )
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.10-4GB
OS/Compiler notes:

Hi

the Doxygen configuration in Gideon apparently uses Doxyfile keywords for the UI (e.g. for checkboxes) and offers extensive QWhatsThis help to describe them.

This is rather awkward to use as you basically have to read every QWhatsThis to understand the options.

Why not use descriptive texts and optionally add "This is equivalent to the XXX_XXXX option in the Doxyfile"?

Oh and while submitting this I noticed that the Bugreport wizard preselects Kate as application name.

This has been solved. A nice setence is presented in the gui instead of a keyword
