I have been facing the issue that my folders indicate several unread messages but when I click on them, only old messages are shown.

When I then restart akonadi the new messages are shown.

I have not tested whether it is enough to just wait for some time; but at least 10 minutes is not enough; so akonadi restart is mandatory

It seems that this is not really reproducible as it doesnt affect all folders all times. But I guess it is not intended.

It would be nice if you would provide me with some debugging hints in order to solve that issue

This problem still persists.
