SUMMARY
when notified of updates, they are shown bigger than the actual download is in the end. Today I was shown ~ 500MB updates, but it only downloaded ~ 140MB. Not a big deal, but if there could be done something about it, it would be kind of nice.
It might only be a problem with the flatpak backend, so could be moved there, but maybe snap has the same problem.

It's telling you the final size on disk, not the download size. These can be different due to de-duplication and compressed packages.
