Add a task switcher sort order that is same as task manager cycling order. This can be useful because tasks can be sorted manually in task manager.
Comment 1 zeertzjq 2020-10-29 09:33:50 UTC
Or is it possible to cycle through task manager tasks (just like mouse wheel scrolling on the task manager) using a command like `qdbus`?

If task manager exposed keyboard shortcuts to the behavior triggered by mousewheel up/down, that would allow a workaround for bug 410594 as well. As it stands, there is no sequential forwards/backwards task switching by keyboard in kwin, which is unfortunate for workstation use.

100% agree here. There definitely should be a sord order option that follows the task bar order (of the current desktop/screen).
