I would like to see under general in the Dolphin settings a tab for customizing the tooltips. Something where all information is selectable or unselectable including the images on them.

+1 I usually have Dolphin running in a small window on my monitor and some longer filenames get cut off. The tooltip allows me to see the rest of it but it'd be nice if I could hide all the other info it also spews out at me.

This doesn't seem terribly complicated to do and I can see the utility
