SUMMARY

In short, when cropping a clip, either in Kdenlive or in an external program, such as VLC, the clip moves, but the obscure regions stay where they are, revealing sensitive information.  This problem occours both in the project file and after rendering the file to video.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add obscure effects to a project, render as *.mp4
2. Attempt to crop in a separate program or even Kdenlive.

OBSERVED RESULT

Obscure filter saves no purpose.

EXPECTED RESULT

For areas under the obscure filters to be overwritten, when rendered.
For the obscure regions to move automatically when cropping videos.

Try with "crop by padding" instead of "crop" of "edge crop".
