Description Leonardo 2020-10-22 07:17:17 UTC
SUMMARY
The widget size and positions are getting messed up when using screen extension, when the laptop's resolution (and screen) is smaller than the monitor that's being used to extend to. The laptop resolution is 720p, the monitor 1080p

After booting, the widgets are messed up (or some gone) because they were positioned for the bigger monitor, but they are being repositioned every time for the small laptop monitor. This results me in having to reposition them almost every time after a reboot.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. position the widgets (hardware activity, ram, etc) for the big monitor and use extend to right screen extension (or even other modes)
2. reboot and login
3. see the widgets being moved, dissappeared

OBSERVED RESULT
as described

EXPECTED RESULT
keep the same position for the widgets, but just resize them to be smaller and fit in the same positions on the smaller resolution. But as soon as the bigger monitor is used, use the original sizes (and positions)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
