That's odd. Cannot reproduce with the same version, distro, and panel position. (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > That's odd. Cannot reproduce with the same version, distro, and panel > position. Do you also have the same tabs and in the same order? I’m not sure if mine are the default ones. I have (from left to right): Favourites | Often Used | Applications | Computer | Leave Ah, I can reproduce now if I add the off-by-default "Often Used" tab. Seems to only affect that one. Probably a clue. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 398349 *** |
Created attachment 132588 [details] Video showing inconsistent tab sliding SUMMARY When moving between tabs in the application launcher, the direction from which the tabs slide in are inconsistent. See the attached video. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the application launcher. 2. Move from the first tab (‘Favourites’) to the second tab (‘Recently used’). 3. Continue to move to the right, to the next tab(s) until you reach the last (fifth) tab (‘Leave’). 4. Move back to the previous tabs until you reach the first tab again. OBSERVED RESULT See the attached video. But here’s a text description: From left to right (steps 2–3): When you move from tab 1 to tab 2, the view slides in from the RIGHT. When you move from tab 2 to tab 3, the view slides in from the LEFT. When you move from tab 3 to tab 4, the view slides in from the RIGHT. When you move from tab 4 to tab 5, the view slides in from the RIGHT. From right to left (step 4): When you move from tab 5 to tab 4, the view slides in from the LEFT. When you move from tab 4 to tab 3, the view slides in from the LEFT. When you move from tab 3 to tab 2, the view slides in from the RIGHT. When you move from tab 2 to tab 1, the view slides in from the LEFT. EXPECTED RESULT When moving from tab x to tab x + 1 (i.e., from left to right), the view should slide in from the RIGHT for all x. When moving from tab x + 1 to tab x, the view should slide in from the LEFT for all x.
