SUMMARY

I prefer to use non-default Thumbnail Grid visualization for the Task Switcher, but it randomly resets visualization to the default Breeze. This doesn't happen often, so I cannot yet guess why this is happening. As new information becomes available, the bug report will be updated.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Open System Settings
2. Go to Window Management > Task Switcher
3. Change visualization to non-default (Thumbnail Grid in my case)

OBSERVED RESULT

Task Switcher randomly resets visualization to the default Breeze.

EXPECTED RESULT

Task Switcher always uses the visualization of my choice.

By any chance, are you switching Global Themes? Because the Breeze and Breeze Dark global themes specify the use of the Breeze Task Switcher.
