My TLP config

SUMMARY

First, I want to thank you for the implementation of this feature. But unfortunately it doesn't work properly for me.

I'm using a ThinkPad E580 which supports setting the charge start/stop thresholds. I also use TLP to manage these charge thresholds.

My TLP config is attached.

PowerDevil KCM page (System Settings > Power Managemenet > Advanced Settings) shows charge start threshold as 70% and charge stop threshold as 65%, which is wrong (relative to my TLP config). Moreover, the charge start threshold can't be greater then the charge stop threshold. Also, every time I visit this KCM page, different thresholds are shown, but they are never correct (relative to my TLP config).

Also there should also be an option to enable/disable the battery charge threshold. It is currently unclear how to do this: should I set both thresholds to 100% or 0%?

Looks like it's an EC firmware issue / https://linrunner.de/tlp/faq/battery.html#charge-thresholds-shown-by-tlp-stat-b-do-not-correspond-to-the-configured-ones.

Nate, does this feature work well on your ThinkPad?
