KCM at 800×600
Kscreen KCM at 1280×720

Created attachment 132537 [details] KCM at 800×600 I was checking up on my old netbook which has a 1024×600 screen and attached an external screen to it. When trying to configure the screen, I discovered that I could not operate the KCM within System Settings with the mouse, because the Apply button was off the screen and unreachable with scrollbars. Admittedly, there are not many devices out there these days which have such a low pixel count, but that doesn’t change the problematic widget layout that cannot cope well with low vertical heights. But if there is any GUI that needs this capability, it would be the screen setup. In another case, I was setting my big 2560×1440 screen to quarter resolution (1280×720) to try out the performance of a demanding 3D game on Intel graphics. There, the Apply button was just about visible and no scrollbars shown. There might be users who need very big fonts because of bad eyesight, and those big letters would also push the widgets apart. EXPECTED RESULT The Apply button should be reachable with the mouse by way of the scrollbar. My setup: Current standard Arch packages Plasma 5.20.0 KDE Frameworks 5.75.0 Qt 5.15.1 The screenshots are a few days old, from Plasma 5.19, Frameworks 5.74.0.
