Error is: "The Wayland connection broke. Did the Wayland compositor die?"

Qt cannot recover from this condition.

Have the same issue, can confirm. Shell crashes from receiving too many notifications every time I connect my phone with notification plugin enabled. If I clear the notifications first on my phone, there are no issues.

Please file a new bug report as this one is quite old and it's likely what's going on for you is different.

Also, if you also saw the "The Wayland connection broke. Did the Wayland compositor die?" message, that means that kwin_wayland crashed, and we will need a backtrace for it. Please attach that to your bug report.
