Created attachment 132489 [details] Back button behavior when only desktop is displayed When only desktop is displayed, back button in 'Status and notifications' closes the panel. I think it's a bit unintuitive that back button doesn't return to the main grid and you should open it again. When some window is displayed, this does not happen (panel automatically reopens). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Ensure that all windows are closed or hidden. 2. Open 'Status and Notifications' panel (show hidden icons) 3. Enter some category from grid view, for example 'Notifications' 4. Try to go back to main panel, but back button closes it instead.
