SUMMARY
The option to select the Wi-Fi Band (2.4Ghz vs 5Ghz) is missing in the network connections configuration. However, this option is present in the nm-connection-editor under the Wi-Fi tab.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open system settings
2. Go to Network Connections
3. Select a Wi-Fi network
4. Select the Wi-Fi tab

OBSERVED RESULT

There is no option to select the band.

EXPECTED RESULT

I was expecting to see an option there to select the band.

I was also confused by the fact that KDE Network Editor does not have an option to select the band. I wanted to select the band because I was not sure that KDE was even able to connect on 5 GHz, as it only displayed 2.4 GHz connections.

As a workaround, it is possible to connect on a particular frequency using the "BSSID" dropdown of the "Wi-Fi" tab. If it is not possible to have a band selection option, would it be possible to rename this option as "BSSID/Band" so that non-technical users know where to look, please?
