$ snap run kate 
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libgtk3-nocsd.so.0' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (failed to map segment from shared object): ignored.
kate: /snap/kate/64/kf5/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt5Core.so.5: version `Qt_5.14' not found (required by kate)

Please upgrade to latest in snap store, or snap refresh kate
