The options currently available have no data on "less popular" countries. Not everyone lives in the big metropolises, so we are still important. 

openweathermap is one of the few sites that has data on smaller cities around the world.

This addon is currently compatible with OWM but has not received updates for a long time. Maybe it's useful to see how it was implemented.

If this is to be added, I would like to see the option to pass the current position (Night Color already has a way to find it) to the API, instead of being forced to chose a location. If necessary, the user may be asked to provide their own API key.
