SUMMARY
Issue booting after removing a user set to log in automatically.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Using the User Manager - System Settings Module, create a standard (non-administrator user, and check "Log in automatically".
2. Delete the user without unchecking "Log in automatically".

OBSERVED RESULT
Upon booting the system, it gets stuck with nothing on screen, only the cursor is visible.

EXPECTED RESULT
Boot to the user login prompt.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I do not experience this issue if I uncheck "Log in automatically" prior to deleting the user account.

This seems like a bug with your display manager-it should know how to gracefully fall back when its configured autologin user isn't available. You should report this to your display manager's bug tracker.
