SUMMARY
I have 5 virtual desktops. All those desktops have multiple Chrome windows. After reboot, window location (desktop x/y) and size is restored, but all windows are now at the first desktop.
Cannot use windows settings -rules, because windows title is content depending on. Title changes when active tab changes in that browser window.

Would be nice if all those windows what were open at shutdown, would be restored back to original virtual desktops.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Two questions:
1. Can you remember the last time when this worked properly?
2. Did Chrome always used to remember size and position, or did it only start doing so with the upgrade to Frameworks 5.74?

1.Those windows (as long as I remember) has always been restored back to the first virtual desktop.
2. Always yes. If I remember correct. I think it's a feature of Chrome, because in windows land Chrome remembers size and location too.

Google Chrome doesn't participate in session management, it restores its previous session on its own.

Given that kwin doesn't have enough data to identify windows, things such as previous virtual desktop, position, size and so on are not saved.

Unfortunately, we can't fix this bug. :(

That makes a DOWNSTREAM bug, not a NOT A BUG. :)

Please report the issue to the Chrome/Chromium bug tracker.
