SUMMARY
If the WiFi Connection temporarily drops before immediately reconnecting, the internet connection will indefinitely try to resolve hosts resulting in timeouts and a non-working internet connection until the Networks Plasmoid is opened, where the network then immediately unfreezes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect to WiFi
2. Wait for it to drop out (a good indication is Android reconnecting to the WiFi connection suddenly)
3. Try to do any host resolving such as going to a website in your browser
4. See that it fails
5. Repeat, but this time open the Networks Plasmoid while it's doing it

OBSERVED RESULT
The host resolving is stuck and gets unstuck immediately when the Networks Plasmoid is opened.

EXPECTED RESULT
The network would be reconnected properly without having to correct it manually by opening the Networks Plasmoid.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon 5.19.5
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5
KDE Frameworks Version: (I'll fill this in slightly later)
Qt Version: (I'll fill this in slightly later)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
A good indication of when this happens is that on Android it'll visibly disconnect and then immediately reconnect to that WiFi connection.

Can't say I have encountered this issue anymore in the years since, so, probably best to close this one.
