Seems reasonable. While updating, the Notifier is going to still be active, so we could close the main window and let the Notifier display the status in the system tray, and we could also show a system notification as Maksym suggests. Picking it up in the notifier would be rather complex because we'd have to transfer the state between the two processes. We could create a StatusNotifierItem for Discover if you close it as it's doing things that closes the application when it's done I guess. *** Bug 436430 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This has been implemented. |
