I tried with a regular Plasma panel and thumbnails work ! So the problem seems to be on Latte's side. Reassigning for investigation. which Latte version? 2. Plasma panels with plasma taskmanagers do they provide task previews under wayland? are you sure? I can reproduce the situation Patrick was talking about. Hovering over the icon in the task bar (for the window thumbnail) immediately makes the entire Plasma session crash under a Fedora 33 (beta) install, Plasma 5.19.90 Wayland session. So, since the thumbnails work fine on a regular Plasma panel, should I close this bug report ? Created attachment 131889 [details] Window thumbnail not working on Wayland SUMMARY I installed Plasma 5.19.90 on Archlinux, and one of the new features of this release is the support for window thumbnails on Wayland. unfortunately, it does not work on my computer. I enabled thumbnails in Latte-dock and the thumbnail does not show the window content (see attached file). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3.
