When I select a big list of items (over 100 files with only root permission) inside dolphin then right click > Root actions > delete and click continue and type root password, the delete operation fails without giving any message and the items are not deleted.

The Root Actions plugin is a 3rd-party plugin which is shipped by default in Manjaro IIRC, but is not developed by KDE. You would want to contact the developers of the plugin, perhaps over here: https://store.kde.org/p/998469/

However it looks like the plugin has not had a release on over three years, so it may no longer be developed.
