You're on FreeBSD which I believe does not support AccountsService, or something (IIRC). ANy chance you can try the Plasma 5.20 beta which has a fancy new version of it? Created attachment 131752 [details] attachment-19733-0.html I anaysed the source code of kcm account manager. It calls the service from qdbus. And it prints in console that user can not be deleted. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDSINFO status with no change in 30 days the bug will be closed as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME due to lack of needed information. For more information about our bug triaging procedures please read the wiki located here: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging If you have already provided the requested information, please mark the bug as REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to be confirmed. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! This is probably more something to report downstream (e.g. bugs.freebsd.org). I don't expect this to work at all unless someone (e.g. reporter) specifically takes it up and chases it through the codebase. None of the downstream packagers (incl. me) would ever think of using the user manager KCM, I'm afraid, so that's an unlikely thing to get fixed from downstream. > None of the downstream packagers (incl. me) would ever think of using the

Why's that? What do you use instead on FreeBSD?
Created attachment 132522 [details] attachment-19909-0.html I debugged the Accounts kcm, it calls some dbus service from qt. And then it prints error usr/bin/userdel not found. I just created usr/bin/userdel script like in linux than it worked.
