Fist of all, sorry if this is categorized incorrectly. I wasn't sure where this belongs.

On my laptop the home/end buttons are not very accessible. I've tried remapping super+left/right to home in the "Standard shortcuts" settings to "Beginning of line"/"End of line". It works in a few apps but not in most. For example, in Kate it works fine, in Firefox, PHPStorm and VSCode it does not. I've restarted the apps and even tried rebooting with no success.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open "Standard Shortcuts" app
2. Search for "End of line"
3. Add "super+right" as an alternative shortcut
4. Relaunch and try in a few apps

OBSERVED RESULT
In some apps the cursor moves one character to the right, sometimes it doesn't move at all.

EXPECTED RESULT
I'd expect it to be have exactly the same as the home/end buttons.

This bug was reported against an outdated version of KWin. We have made many changes since the. 
If the issue persists in newer versions can you reopen the bug report updating the version number.
