Could you please answer some questions to help tracking the problem? - Which filesystem are you using? (EXT4/BTRFS/...) - Can you use the "details view mode" and add the "Path" column? (switch to details view, right click in any column header, Other -> Path) - Which is the output on the command: "baloosearch playback" ? Thanks! I attach a screenshot showing 3 or 4 real folders reported as 43 folders as a search result. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. search file/folder in dolphins build in the search function 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT 3 or 4 folders reported as 43 folders as a search result.
