After rebooting the speaker and microphone levels are reset to certain values and doesn't remember the values set from previous boot.

Operating System: Manjaro Linux

Cannot reproduce on openSUSE Tumbleweed. Feels like it could be a PulseAudio or distro configuration issue.

What I found is that the problem occurs only with 5.8 kernel, but with LTS 5.4.64 the levels are restored with slight delay : directly after boot when the panel appears it's shown (for 1 to 2 seconds) as mute but after the full desktop finishes loading and desktop icons appears then the sound levels are restored.
