Cannot reproduce on openSUSE Tumbleweed. Feels like it could be a PulseAudio or distro configuration issue. (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > Cannot reproduce on openSUSE Tumbleweed. What I found is that the problem occurs only with 5.8 kernel, but with LTS 5.4.64 the levels are restored with slight delay : directly after boot when the panel appears it's shown (for 1 to 2 seconds) as mute but after the full desktop finishes loading and desktop icons appears then the sound levels are restored. Seems like this is caused by an issue below us then. Can you follow up with a kernel bug? Thanks! |
