As you can see in the picture, not all windows are available for sharing

SUMMARY

Tested on chrome and on firefox. Running under kde/wayland, using chrome (google meet) choosing to share windows (for videoconfercing) only shows some windows available.
Repeating experiment on firefox. Firefox shows no windows available for sharing.

Repeating both experiments on kde/X11 sharing windows shows all windows available for sharing on both chrome and firefox.

Since we are all stuck home videoconferencing, I rate this as major severity.

Currently, it's not possible to record native Wayland windows. In 5.20, it will be possible to share all windows.

kwin provides a way to record windows. if it's not possible to screencast a window in some particular app, please report this issue to the developers of that app.
