SUMMARY

The new KDEnlive version, installed from PPA, has no themes available, and the default one is faulty, as most of the icons and buttons are not visible.

Thanks for your report! Please try to install kde-style-breeze via

$ apt install kde-style-breeze

But I think it would be good to add this package as a dependency to the PPA

breeze and breeze-icons have been made hard-dependencies since 20.08.1.
however, the widget switching menu still uses a lib from plasma-desktop which is a too big dep to force pulling.
