SUMMARY

In the new version MOV files with transparency stopped working. The same goes for EXR files. Tried in appimage version and also in a installed one, from PPA.
I had same isuue in one of the previous KDEnlive versions, it worked corretly after an update, and now, it's not working again.



OBSERVED RESULT

Instead of being transparent, the background is black.

Thanks for the report! First of all can you please update to the latest version (https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and report here whether this is still happening? Btw do you use the appimage?

Do you remember which kdenlive version it worked with before you switched to 20.08 (melt version is also interestion if you can provide it Settings -> About Kdenlive)? Can you provide an transparent MOV example file?
