Attached output of xev and dbus-monitor commands. I also marked the the moments of presses: you can search for 'First press', 'Second press', 'Third press', 'Fourth press' framed with # symbols. dbus-monitor does not display anything on intermediate presses (presses after which nothing happens). Actually, sometimes dbus-monitor has an output on intermediate presses, see the attachment.
