Wouldn't the first click of the double-click action interfere with the single-click action? If we made the double-click respect the default double-click timeout period, then we would be effectively delaying single-clicks for a few hundred milliseconds to make sure that you're not about to double-click. Do you see a way around this issue? Perhaps that's right. I don't know what kind of threshold is there for counting a double click, and don't see a way around the issue. :) |
