This configuration crashed again
It looks like that the option "work on all processor cores" is the reason for the crashes
Fixed with bug 426175. Maik |
Created attachment 131282 [details] This configuration worked SUMMARY When scanning more than about 20 directories digicam crashed repeatably and in some cases Windows stopped with a Blue Screen and rebooted. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. "Extras->Wartung" (engl. Extras->Maintenance?): Select a directory subtree with about 50 directories. 2. check the box "Detect and recognize Faces": "rescan unrecognized faces" 3. The box "Work on all processor cores (when it's possible)" is checked OBSERVED RESULT Always: digicam crashed Sometimes: Windows stopped with a BlueScreen EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10; Release 2004 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Workaround: When the box "Work on all processor cores (when it's possible)" was UN-checked, digikam worked fine
