SUMMARY
I have 3 activities. My key shortcut to switch activities is Win+Tab.
Trying switch activity, when I release key shortcut, bar where are placed thumbnails of activities doesn't disappear and there is no normal way to close it. Any clicking into bar or desktop or Plasma panel, or even switching windows (Alt+Tab) doesn't work only helps of restart Plasma.

Notice that. I have configured also switching activities by defined 'Desktop Corner', which works well.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create couple activities
2. Try to switch between them using key shortcut
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Bar holding thumbnails of activities not disappear after release key shortcut

EXPECTED RESULT
Bar holding thumbnails of activities should disappear after release key shortcut

Yeah we've gotten various reports of this. Cannot reproduce though.

In my system issue still persists after update to Plasma 5.19.5

I tried to reproduce it on neon-developer (dated on Aug 24, 2020), but I wasn't able to do it. I created 3 Activities and switching worked well. 

BTW. After changing wallpaper in activity, thumbnail isn't updated properly.
