Created attachment 131166 [details] image of partial KDE plasma desktop I searched but could not find a match although my choice of a search phrase maybe wrong. SUMMARY When I open KDE, the desktop folders do not display the correct icons. The individual executable items do update. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open KDE 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT The folder icons have not adopted the properties selected icon. EXPECTED RESULT The folders should display the chosen icons. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.18.5 (Kubuntu 20.04.1 - uptodate) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.12.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The hopefully attached graphic shows the issue. The icons on 'PBEA' was previously updated and this is what the folder should display. The 'Properties' shows the correct icon. The 'log_files' folder shows the initial unchanged icon. Points to Correct - Click the unchanged folder and display 'Properties' - Click anywhere except 'Cancel' and the folder icon is updated This affects all desktop items from freshly made to links.
