STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. group some video clips on track
2. use razor tool to cut 
3. app crashes

Tested with 20.08.0 on Windows. I have no crash. Do you use the official version 20.08.0 from here: https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ ?

yes, I use the appimage release https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/kdenlive-20.08.0-x86_64.appimage

I tried with AppImage 20.08.0 -> it works. Please delete kdenlive-appimagerc and kdenliverc  see here: https://community.kde.org/Kdenlive/Configuration
