When making a typo while entering digits into the calculator plasma widget, it's impossible to correct the mistake by pressing the [Backspace] key.

For example: You mean to enter "360 / 12 =", but instead type "369" at first.  One would assume you could hit [Backspace] and "0" to correct it, and then proceed with "/ 12 =".

However, you must clear the entire calculation (e.g., with [Esc]) and start over.
