Created attachment 130916 [details] A screenshot showing a drop-down list with nicknames that will be truncated Konversation could launch a simple popup warning when a nickname is truncated because of NICKLEN server parameter. This will be especially helpful for an IRC novices like me - I think looking at a screenshot will be enough to understand why I felt a bit lost when clicking different nickname variants in a drop-down list. Those are default nicknames derived from a Linux username, the server had NICKLEN=16. This is not a bug, but a suggestion.
