SUMMARY
Add a title clip to the project bin, and the length is 00:04.59 while 00:05.00 is set in the settings. Also, when you add the fade effects, the effects are shorter by one frame.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open a new project
2. create a title clip
3. add the title clip to the timeline, add a fade out effect

OBSERVED RESULT
the added title clip is 4.59 long instead of 5.00, also the fade out effect is shorter by 1 frame

EXPECTED RESULT
The title clip and the effect should be exactly as long as it is set in the kdenlive settings: 00:05.00 and 00:03.00

Windows: Win 10 current

Thank you for reporting. Confirmed. This happens with following project settings: 59.94fps and 23.98fps and 29.87fps and 23.98fps.

I checked, and this problem was solved in v19.12.3.
Since 20.04.0 the problem appears again.
Is the problem exists only on windows systems where the separator is "," instead of "."?

Oh, and one more thing: I can' set round seconds for effects: for example, if I want to set 5 secs, the length jumps to 00:00:04.59.
I'm using a windows which uses , as separator... is this problem appears on windows which uses . as separator?

Can you please check whether this issue still exists in the latest version 24.12.0?

If yes, please update this report to reflect the new version and set the status to CONFIRMED.
