I did not. Package kio-stash doesn't exist on Arch Linux, only in AUR. It might be a good idea to have this package in the official repos and also list it in package dependencies of Dolphin (as an optional).

I'm not going to add an unmaintained project to the repos (last non-trivial commit was 3 years ago)

Is it possible to add an optional dependency to a package in AUR or just in some way note that kio-stash is needed for Dolphin to be complete?

Seems like mostly a downstream issue at this point. :)
