This sounds like it's a bug with openSUSE (the distro you marked as your platform) and not any KDE software.

You should file bugs with openSUSE's installer on the openSUSE Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org.

It might be bug#422636.

(if "installer" means systemsettings, I am not aware of such options in openSUSE's installer anyway)
