SUMMARY
Watch the attached screen recording please.
When I cancel the update of sddm theme, Discover shows an empty error message and then an inline error message and gets stuck in "installing" state. Despite this behavior, apparently the sddm theme was successfully updated because neither Discover nor GHNS window find it again even after reboot.

Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0
Qt Version: 5.15.0

This seems to be a KNewStuff backend bug. It just happened to me with Discover and KF built from git master today.

Hi Patrick,

Is this still an issue for you? I cannot reproduce this. 5.19.4 is quite old now, can you still reproduce this on a later version of KDE Plasma?

Thanks.
