SUMMARY
When I open my tabs for example: "Settings' the vertical menu glitches and disappears and it is extremely hard to see where to go and click on the right function. This happens with all my tabs with Krita. Is there an update to fix this or will I have to re-install it on my computer? 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on upper bar tabs 
2. Vertical Tabs disappears and glitches
3. I have to run my mouse around it or move it to another screen to see it.

Since you're talking about "reinstalling" I assume that you're using Krita on Windows? Only Windows users think that reinstalling something can fix anything... Anyway, you're simply not giving enough information to figure out what the problem is. Please provide:

* the os and version of the os you're using
* a screenshot of the problem
* if you're on windows, the krita log files in %LOCALAPPDATA%
