This happens with me too. The problem is actually worse then @Karl Cheng explained. Just waking up the phone by pressing power button makes a beep(given persistent indicator is enabled and my phone is locked), even before I can unlock it. For now I have disabled persistent notification, but doing this is not an option, since I need the notifications for 'Send Clipboard', as I am on Android 10. For now my solution is this - In the notification settings, disable sounds. This doesn't seem to be about the persistent notification only.
If you have a sound notification enabled for "File transfer" ("Share and receive" plugin), the notification sound plays on a repeat for as long as the file transfer is in progress. Disabling the notification sound for "File transfer" is a workaround here too.
Android 10 (Motorola Moto G8 Power)
KDE Connect 1.15.1
I'm experiencing this on Android 11 as well. - persistent notification does seem to make noise whenever a kdeconnect event occurs. I've had it blow up randomly before though. - file transfer notification makes noise for the duration of the transfer, and cuts off longer notification tones about once a second Disabling the sound is a good workaround for now. |
