Hi,

My request is about getting more flexibility to customize the tools in the Sidebar Tools menu. I find it a bit annoying that I have to open the image editor to do small edits like Auto-Correction and would like the possibility to add this button (and probably a few more) to the tools menu.

Why not to customize Image Editor Toolbar (behind main menu). It fully configurable in opposite of tool sidebar.

In addition, it is currently not possible to use things like auto correction directly in digiKam. Everything that concerns the saving of the image, versioning etc. is done in the image editor or BQM. Only adding the tool in the digiKam tool sidebar would not work.
