SUMMARY
When I change the display output on my notebook from internal screen to external display; Night color is not applied even if the applet says that it's turned on.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Turn on Night color (e.g. manually)
2. Change display output

OBSERVED RESULT
Night color is not applied.

EXPECTED RESULT
Display color is adjusted according to Night color applet.

Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 32/5.19.3
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.3

Bug is still present in Plasma 5.20.2 
Affects me as I use gpu passthrough and frequently switch the display to a VM. When I switch back to host after sunset, night-mode has not been applied and has to be applied manually.

This has been working for me for quite some time now. Is anyone still able to reproduce it in Plasma 6.4 or later?
